Playing Starcraft 2 at times can get very annoying and frustrating and can put you on tilt very easily, especially if laddering constantly and you lose 4-5 in a row. Since I started playing in the competitive scene for SEA last year, I have been in a few tournaments and got angry at myself at a loss in the first second game, which puts me on tilt very easily.
As most of you guys know, losing isn't fun, but when you get on tilt at a tournament like WCS or ACL’s or other tournaments, it’s very hard to get your head straight once you’re tilted.
At the moment I am working on just playing the game for fun and enjoying what I do. So far I have been doing really well on ladder by not caring about losses. I just watch the replay, analyse it and check what I did wrong to improve on in future. If I was to lose maybe 2 - 3 games in a row I would just sit there or go for a walk, get a drink and take a breath of fresh air to just clear my mind so I don’t just go on a massive losing streak and get tilted. I don’t want to be screwing up my laddering days because I get tilted.
Since I have been playing and not caring about points or losses I have improved my win rate greatly, which is awesome to see since I have gotten back to the MMR which I was at the start of the season, around mid GM,
Now to keep practicing to get GM!
I would like to thank my manager Fries for helping me out on working through this with me, just because it’s one of my weak points in Starcraft 2, so Thank you!
Also to Potthead/Daehfeurd for editing all my write-ups, he is a stud and worthy of everyone’s praise. I love you Potty!
Thanks all for reading. If there is any feedback on what else I could do to not get tilted I would much appreciate it, as this has helped me and I’m enjoying the game a lot more!
Re: i write a blog about myself working on not getting tilted and what i could work on
Good to hear you're working on your mindset. It's a constant battle to put 100% effort into your practice and tournaments, and still avoid getting upset when you lose. Good luck improving

$5 says Potthead added that in while 'editing'...
Anyway, Good to see - Just remain modest and humble in your victories to be comfortable in your defeats. Best of luck with this and good luck with future tournaments!

Been watching your stream heaps and I feel as though you have improved a lot! I learn a lot too whilst watching. Fries is a great guy and an awesome manager, I hope I do as good a job as him~
