It's been a busy 2-months since I got back from Europe. I've attended PAX, won the ACL online Series, two Masters Cups, a SEACraft Cup and the SLCN/SYF Dominion Cup!
I've also been streaming a lot and have seen my viewer-base climbing very quickly where 250+ viewers has become an everyday occurence! I've been consistently putting up highlights of cool micro and amusing/funny moments from the stream onto my Youtube each day so people who miss the stream can see the funniest and most exciting moments. A few examples:
Who would you Marry, Kill and F*** out of Kerrigan, Nova and Mira Han? I weigh it up, whilst defending a 2-rax!
Learning other Races
I've also started learning Terran and Protoss one day each a week, to improve my casting, coaching and general game knowledge. Watching the non zerg matchups has become so much more interesting since I started doing this!
One of my prouder Terran moments haha:
Marine-bombs!
I'm currently top diamond Korea Terran, and Top diamond NA Protoss. Terran is sooo hard mechanically and soon I'm going to have to cave in and spend a few days off stream just getting used to camera-location hotkeys or else I know I'll hit a skill ceiling sooner than I'd like. I've spent the least time on Protoss so far but it really does feel like the race you need the most build-order, scouting and understanding to master. But most of the mechanics are incredibly friendly to a beginner so it's easier to learn. On the other hand getting the hang of executing crisp timings and landing sick FF, attacking up ramps/into bases with sick blink micro and so on is all incredibly hard!
I'm basically learning that a true pwnerer must pwn all races
Casting
I got on to cast the Hot6ix Cup ro8 earlier this week, whilst sick. It was a fun experience but a mix of technical difficulties from GOM, on my own end (cleaned my PC since and cleared up), and being sick made it a really difficult effort.
I did learn that my casting is really out of practice and especially when I'm on cough medicine I don't have the experience to create a smooth experience through the brain-haze :P. On the other hand I learnt LOADS about TvP and TvT from my co-caster Iaguz and so I look forward to my next chance to try again, minus all the issues.
Thanks for reading this update guys, I appreciate all the support in helping me make the Aussie eSports dream a reality!
P.S. After sitting on an outdoor bamboo type chair for 2-months I finally managed to get a brand new sick gaming chair! Thanks so much to the donators and subs that helped me afford this beast! My back feels so much better at the end of each day now!
It can only get better ^_^ Dare to Dream, Live the Dream. Gogo PiG!

"and we'll invest more on Bots, as our first Trial bot, the 'NemBotElie' was a huge success, organising tournaments and being part of the Council of mGG. But there are a few bugs in which the bot cannot go past the skill level of a Platinum Protoss." - PaRAnorMaL
Protoss and zerg are pretty similar in terms of macro mechanics working in waves, so you should get use to toss quite quickly. I know zerg comes a lot easier to me than terran.
Yeah Pezz I agree, and Terran can't hotkey their units the moment they build them, can't build supply buildings as easily etc. There's just a lot more taxing mechanics for Terran imo, but also so much they can do with their mobile, positioning-based aggression.
Great updates, PiG. Does it look like casting is becoming a required skill for progamers? I mean, they do it here and there for the fun of their presence, but maybe now in a more professional way.
Let us know if some of these games are up.
Looking forward to resume our mentoring sessions when I go back home.
It's been good to see so much of you online - I learn a lot from watching your stream. Especially the coaching ones!
Thanks for continuing to be an inspiration!

Nope, it's just something I've always enjoyed and opens other avenues for more income and a transition if I ever injure my hands or can't compete for some other reason
