Precursor - I'm writting this in my normal style, not editing overly - my genuine chatting typing style. Many full stops will ensue.
So.. I've given it alot of thought.. and Many of you may have seen my grinding out Zerg on NA ladder or in a few customs. And quite frankly - I think my Zerg is stronger than my Protoss (what I thought was my main)
I'll still enjoy the forces of Auir. And maybe after HotS I'll be able to make a better judgement on if I wanna be full time or :S
At this stage - my Protoss is on SEA (perhaps thru a lack of laddering, nice people have told me I should be diamond at least.. but atm I'm Plat).
And my Zerg which I exclusively play on NA - is Diamond.. Now sure, there are those that will say - "But Chad, NA is so EZ.. your Zerg is probably silver on SEA".. yes I understand this, SEA is gosu server filled with sick nerd ballers ( you.. yes you!).
So I've decided that I'll try and give both races a bit of a test through and work out which suits me the most. Play a few customs with people of all races and leagues and work out where each sits. Then I may become - another SEA Zerg.. I know, its hard to give up my former glory of top 10 SEA Protoss (I think I was top 5 protoss at ACL Gold Coast.. sup? ).
While I don't ladder on SEA - I have played a bit on Korea and NA with my protoss also. And I've done well on both servers.. However - after not playing the game much for awhile..and only squeezing in games when I can - I feel my Zerg is getting alot stronger than Protoss.
Anyway, I hope you can join me in my search for Racial superiority.. And I'll try and blog my progession. Also, it helps when I have EdgE, fenner, ninja, Jimdiddy and neKo on my team .. And how could I forget ninja brett
- Also, WCS Blog stuff:
WCS was amazing - props to the lads that got it done.
Great to meet so many nice people there.. I truly had one of the most enjoyable weekends of my life!
I wonder if you can guess the two series that inFeZa took a break and I obs'd?.. the quality probably dropped - his obsing was amazing.
Glad I could contribute to this event and I look forward to the next event. Make sure you all come along and support ACL - that was basically the same group of players in WCS and ACL - I'm sure we can get a good crowd pumping for the next ACL to enjoy the same level games.
Finally, I blogged early in the year about my goals in eSports - to be involved in a team and run a tournament - I quickly achieved these goals.. Now I want to continue to grow my team and play more and start casting the game. Carnage eSports has come a long, long way since I joined to help build a SC2 division - behind the scenes much has changed with that humble little team - its grown, been pushed back, grown again, changed management (twice).. to the position that has myself and small group of others pushing the team forward with big plans for the future.
Sadly, I don't have the internet to upload.. so I rely on others to stream my casting. But I'd love to be more involved in casting, if you ever need a second caster.. let me know ^_^
That will do for this blog you if you read it all..
