I spent the last solid month saving up money in my the shit hole that is KFC, taking up extra shifts etc just to go and when Tastosis was announced I was bouncing off the walls with happiness, literally. I poured my heart and soul in to growing eSports and helping my team Teknicity eSports getting to where it is today, doubling it's social media presence and spending countless hours fixing up the website, talking to sponsors and helping my boys. StarCraft is where I want my future to grow, it is a beautiful game and one designed for everyone to enjoy.
BarCraft I understand the concept of but a Blizzard WCS qualifier final? Why? Don't get me wrong I love having a drink and hanging with mates, it's awesome and I have a good ID that I can use to go clubbing and buy drinks etc but I can't even go to what pretty much is now my life just to watch and meet some of the people I have looked up to for a long time now. I cannot use the ID however as I know most people on here will know I am not in fact 18 especially after I post this blog...
If you were with a guardian and was under supervision would you be allowed in, like say a pub?
It kills me inside to realise that I cannot go to an event I have looked forward to for a months now, especially after BiGbiRd qualified and the rest of my team is going.
Thanks for reading
Maxim.

Hey buddy. I feel your pain. ACL & Blizzard are gonna do everything they can to get the venue to budge on this. This is one of their stipulations, it's not coming from us. I'll keep you posted.
Yeah KnighTLighT qualified for WCS Oceania and he's only 17.. its kind of silly to make the venue R18 when there are so many underage players and fans.
I'm in the exact same position man and I totally agree with you. Was more than willing to pay all the expenses so I could get to this once-only event, especially now that MiFrustration qualified and they secured amazing international casters. Really hope they can budge on this and thanks to Dox for understanding. I think they're missing out on an entire group of crucial figures in eSports; Under 18 fans. Hopefully can hear of a change soon!
We had that when I was in Uni and we did a stage production with alcohol being sold.
However, we did have high-schoolers coming in to watch the play as well, obviously with their teachers/guardians. So I think it's fine if you have a guardian. Hopefully they can be clearer with the "Only 18+" rule.

Depends on the liquor license the venue has. The high school production was probably able to get away as it was covered under "social gathering", just like a yard party etc. This hall probably has a different class of liquor license. I'm no expert, but I'm positive there are different license classes.
