I have made another glorious return (kekek glorious). There was no particular reason for my absence this time around, no idiotic pranks from alleged friend, no family tragedies, I just needed to take some time off. Most of that was to do with putting some fairly intense work in completing an Aged Care qualification and settling in to my work placement as part of my course. Now with most of that hard work out of the way I can finally get back... [Read More]
Its been a very busy last couple weeks for me, I haven't been able to get much StarCraft in. It's nice to have some time to catch up on things.
But first things first I need to announce the result of my charity drive in aid of the Boarding Kennel & Cattery and Adelaide Fire Victims.
The streams managed to raise a nice $82.32
The lion's share of this $82 came from x5.Doombie's cast of my RvR Tournament. So a huge thank you to Exile 5 and Doombie for helping out. I would also like to thank... [Read More]
I've finally reached a point where I am going to have to decide what exactly I want to do in StarCraft. I am giving myself this new year to really nail things down in terms of which direction I want to go.
This year has been a bit of a quiet one for me. I am very slowly becoming more active here in SC2SEA I will admit but it takes me ages to warm up into a social 'gathering'. And now here I am. Starting to become a bit more vocal and building a rep.
I just hope that rep is a good one ... [Read More]
I would like to apologise to Eternal ESports, Elusory and those in my group for the GPDL. I have been away for some time... mainly because I was scared for my safety.
inb4 "well that escalated quickly."
So why exactly was I scared? Keep on reading.
I was on ladder when I came across a brand new account. No levels, default avatar and so on. You get the idea.
This match turned out to be one of my easiest games ever and I roflstomped the guy. After the game I offer to help him to get better... [Read More]
This blog will cover my experience with today's LAN at the Arena in Rundle St, Adelaide organised by Ecko Esports.
You know you are dedicated and hyped for your first LAN (in any game I might add I have never been to a LAN of any kind before!) when you show up and despite walking past that little door sandwiched between actual cafes two or three times you are there at least half an hour before the guys actually running the event
I mean seriously... have a look. Can you find the place? :P... [Read More]
In today's episode we pay a visit to ZvZ between two solid Silver league players with some exciting moments! (And dare I say I think I am improving in my casting?)
So here it is ladies and gents! I hope you enjoy it even more than I did!
Are you BSG? Do you know people who are BSG? Heck even if you arent BSG right now do you have replays from when you were BSG?
Follow the instructions here and you might just be the lucky one to get casted.
Finally after dealing with YouTube not processing my videos, getting slapped with upload errors the first episode of Breaking BSG is finally out!
My thread http://www.sc2sea.com/showthread.php?t=8545 about this series I want to keep developing and working on (improving my casting, analysis etc etc) explains in further detail what its all about.
Some might say I could just as easily handle this in person with messages to the relevant people but in this case I think I would prefer to make a public apology.
First of all I'd liketo apologise to those that have born the brunt of my raging recently, with my dearly loved maternal Grandmother in hospital with a stroke and fading, my Grandfather struggling to cope with possibly losing his partner of 40+ years and so on... I've been under... [Read More]
When I first started playing StarCraft ladder back in Wings of Liberty I set myself a goal. I wanted to get to Platinum league.
Me with my 18 (or lower) APM... a loss streak of 52 games before my first win (true story - my first win triggered a 10 game winning streak. That initial win came right after watching Day9s first Newbie Tuesday. The lesson was so basic "Build Lords, Build Drones"). It seemed like a huge mountain at the time. A million times bigger than Mt. Everest.
I've been a member of this community for quite some time but have never been active really on this forum.
This is a situation I have finally begun to remedy.
I'm finally starting to put my name out there and to my pleasant surprise a few are starting to recognise me when I turn up in a random stream and so on. People are recognising me for my casting and my tournament organisation.
As of right now I am questioning what exactly I wish to focus most of my time on.
